Woohoo!! I was on hold for 40 minutes but I got want I wanted - Le Cellier Nov 30th for the 8:15 show.

I forgot to cancel my adr for tuto when I booked the cp pckg - how long before disney cancels both, i'm on hold now, but i got the message about high call volumes, yikes I'll cry if they do it before I can

Okay, I got ADR's but I needed to make changes, I am so glad I called right back because Coral Reef was booked for the night I wanted. I switched to Teppan Edu on the 11th with the package and moved my Coral Reef to the 8th, where I had Teppan Edu. Then swapped lunch as well but it's all good.

I can't believe it! Due to my schedule I wasn't able to call until 7:30am. I was on hold for 35 mins. I got through and was able to get LeCellier on Christmas Day at 5:25pm for the 8:15 show. Amazing.
So to everyone else- Don't give up and I'm sending pixie dust to you all!

I just booked my dining reservations for my first WDW trip ever! I was on hold for about 45 minutes and I got everything I wanted, including CRT on Christmas morning. I couldn't even sleep last night because I was so excited. I finally got out of bed at 3am (Pacific Time) to prepare for the phone call.

I was able to book the Candlelight processional for 12/24 at 5pm at the Garden Grill.

Good luck to everyone and I'll be seein' ya in 6 months!

to the DIS Krisha, and congratulations on getting all your ADRs! I know that couldn't have been easy getting up that early!

Was able to get exactly what we wanted! Lunch at 2 p.m. on Dec. 23 at Tutto Italia and the 5 p.m. show

Ok I got through pretty quickly, but the cm I got had no enthusiasm what so ever. I tried to explain to him that we have an ADR for 4:45, party of 8, Tuto, one table and a CP 5:00 (8:15 show), party of 8, Tuto, two tables and couldn't we use the big table and I didn't care which time slot, he said no. I ended the call as nothing was going to be resolved with him. Help, why is this so complicated? I need pixie dust!!!

We are actually going to be in EPCOT on the 12th as well, but I didn't want to book the CP until the 13th. It will be something special to do on our last night there.

I hope your first trip with the parents is practically perfect in every way. We are going October 2009 with my DH's family. The only person that doesn't want to go is his brother. For the first time ever, I am planning two Disney trips with in less than 2 years of each other.

What a wonderful way to end your trip! Thanks so much for the well-wishes! My parents are really excited. As long as I don't try to be too commando in the parks (as is my tendency, but I will restrain myself this trip for my parent's sake), it will be a wonderful trip! I bet you're super excited to get to plan another trip just a year away!


By the way, I just love your DIS name! I've been a fan of Star Wars since my parents took me to see Episode IV at the Cherry Lane drive-in in Fort Worth in 1977 (when I was but 5 years old. . .ahh memories)!

Congrats on getting your CP!!

I can't make the rest of our ADRs until tomorrow so I too am hoping that I will be able to get what I want for the rest of the visit.

That is so darn frustrating to get a CM who could care less about helping you! Whenever that happens to me, I hang up and call right back. 99% of the time, the next CM I talk to is more than eager to help me out! Let us know how it goes! Here's some more pixie dust!

I called at 6:59 this am and got right thru, yeah!! I got Le Cellier Dec 5th at 4:10 pm for the 6:45 show. I was so excited when I got off the phone my kids thought we won the lottery, when I explained why I was so excited, my son said "your weird mom". Maybe someday he'll appreciate it!

Thanks, got through to Acres (?) she was very helpful, but I forgot yesterday when I made the ADR I only made it for 5, so we just cancelled it. Trying to ADRs is confusing, but when you add in changing party sizes . . . . Thanks for the pixie dust

I was able to get Chrismas Eve at Teppan Edo for 4:15 and the show at 6.30 was only on hold for 25 minutes...started at 7 ... spoke with Robin and she was awesome

I am super excited to plan the trips two years in a row, but a little nervous. We will be going on my brother and sister in laws wedding anniversary, and it will be my nephew's first trip. I have been put in charge of making it as magical as possible. Then July 2010 is mine and my DH's 15th year wedding anniversary and we met at the MK. (He lived in Southlake, I lived in Bridgeport, and we had to go to WDW to meet.) Since the Wizarding World of Harry Potter should be open by then, I'm trying to convince the DH to do a Universal/WDW parent only trip for our anniversary.
The first time I ever remember being at a movie theatre was for a Star Wars movie. I don't remember which one, I just remember sitting in the floor b/c I was afraid if I was in the seat Darth Vador would see me and get me. We've been to busy to do it lately, but I used to have Star Wars Saturday with the DS's, and we would watch all the movies back to back. My DS's can even tell you who did the music for Star Wars. Most of the time my DS9 walks around the house humming the Imperial March.
