Candlelight Procession for a six year old??

Our daughter loves music but I do not know if she will like CP. We are dining at the Biergarten first and then catching the second show. How long does it last?

CP is ALL ABOUT the music.
But who can predict what a 6 yr. old will "like"?

(Who can predict what a 26 yr. old will "like"?)


Length is about an hour (plus the wait to get in).

The show itself lasts 40 -45 minutes.

If your daughter likes music, I think she will enjoy the show - there is lots of music!

The last time we saw the CP our kids were 2, 4, 6, and 8 years old. They all enjoyed it very much. The music is awesome and the candlelight is beautiful! We will be there again this December and the kids are now 14, 12, 10, and 8. Amazing how time flies!!! Enjoy!!!

I saw it last year with my then DD 6, DD 4, and DS almost 3. We ate at the Biergarten first and they did some cute things for the kids, which had them up and moving on the dance floor -- which I thought was great before having to sit for the Candle Light. (We ate before 5:00 and went to the first or second show). I don't know if they loved it, but my 6 & 4 enjoyed it enough to sit through it. The 3 year old got squirmy (surprise, surprise) and I took him out and stood on the side towards the back, and still watched it. I think it's definitely worth trying with a 6 year old.
