Candlelight narrator?

I don't have to worry about capacity issues, do I? Our goal is to sit out most of the afternoon crowds, but we have a Fantasmic dinner at 5, so need to enter again around 4.

Not sure about capacity, but the entrance gets completely overwhelmed in the afternoon as a huge crowd comes in just for the CP. As I said earlier, they block off some turnstiles and rope some walkways just for Club 33 members and company VIP's and even those get backed up.

The park itself is just "regular busy." But from the esplanade to the plaza in front of the castle is shoulder to shoulder guests.

I asked a CM tonight as the park closed who was standing near the area where they are setting up. The CM said only a few of the CMs know but she alluded that she was one of them. I asked her if it was a good narrator and she said in her opinion it was a great narrator. Interesting they are keeping this tight lipped, it’s either for capacity control or security for a VIP. We will see soon enough. We are here at the parks until Sunday morning. We have two young kids though (4 & 6) so not sure if we want to try and deal with the crowds or just head to dca. Does anyone know if the latter processional is a little less crazy or is it just as bad? Thanks

If the narrator is that good, I wonder if it will make the Sunday show more crowded than the Saturday show. Like once word gets out, if people will be like, "We must go tomorrow!"

I would try to get in a llittle earlier than 4 for a 5pm dinner. 4 will be quite busy in the front section of the park. The parade steps off from Town Square at 330pm, so expect a huge crowd. Try and bear right and get to the backstage area by the Showcase to avoid some of the crowds.

Probably yes. I have class all day Saturday but I am considering going Sunday if it's a narrator I'd like to see. That said, in the past, except for last year, they have done different narrators each night. So I'm not necessarily counting on the narrator being the same both days.

Hmmm I wonder who it will be, this is my first.
So you are going regardless? My favorite narrator has been Edward James Olmos. Kurt Russell was great. And loved Gary Sinese. Would love to see him again. And Dick Van Dyke. BUT, I don't see any of those as being high enough profile to not announce.

We've seen David Ogden Stiers (back when they had it at the Fantasyland pavilion) and Kurt Russell (back when they had it for a few weekends in a row and APers had the opportunity to attend). I enjoyed both, but was really happy to see Kurt Russell read since I grew up watching him in Disney movies.

I hope those of you who have seats get an awesome narrator. :)

I was so surprised when they I found out Kurt Russell was one of the WDW narrators this year. I missed the original announcement, and when I did find out all dining packages where already sold out for the day I could go. I literally checked 50 times a day and eventually somebody must have cancelled, as I finally got a dining package reservation!

In other words, I’m very excited to see Kurt Russell!

I'll probably try and peek in. We are getting there sat, but not going to the park till Sunday, so that should tell me if I'm going to have to do some waiting.

Oh!! I was guessing Emma Watson as one who wouldn't leak it. Emma has really been pushing for privacy, i.e. so won't take selfies with fans anymore because she says there is location marker and her outfit online in mere seconds. B&B was such a huge success.
It's just a wild guess though. Haha. Mark makes sense too.
