Candle Lovers - Do You Trim Your Wicks?

Here's my public service announcement....


Basically you want to make sure the wax pool goes all the way to the edge of the jar each time, or you'll create a tunnel.

Any questions, just ask!

I have a question: What do you do when you get that tunnel. I have this $40 pillar candle, that is a complete tunnel - the candle is about 10 inches high and the tunnel is probably 6 inches deep with a solid 1-1 1/2 inches all around it. Can you help me?

While the wax is still warm you need to hug the pillar by pushing it lightly in around the edges. Not sure if this will work on this particular candle now though.

Sounds funny saying to hug it lol

I use to make candles & keeping the wicks trimmed could not be stressed enough.
