Candle Lighting for Rebecca Coriam.

I just heard on the news that some people gathered at Chester Race Course last night and lit Chinese lanterns for Rebecca. It was nice that this coincided with our own candle lighting.

I wasn't able to post my pic last night, but my candle was lit all day and all night.

I am Rachael Coriam's (Rebecca's sister) best friend and housemate, I lit a candle and went along with all her family and friends to light candles and release chinese lanterns at Chester Racecourse last night. It was beautiful and testament to how well loved Rebecca and her family are. It was very emotional but will hopefully bring a small amount of comfort to the Coriam family.

I lit a candle at 8pm last night in Broadstairs, Kent.

I really hope they find Rebecca and I have huge sympathy for her family and friends right now. I'm an ex crew member and I've been keeping up to date with friends on the ship. As soon as news reached shore side, everyone who had ever worked in Youth Activities on board any of the ships changed their Facebook picture to one showing us in our yellow costumes (uniforms) to show their support. I thought it was a really nice way to show our empathy and it was really nice to see the flood of yellow going across FB from crew old and new.

Once again, my heart and hope goes out to Bex and her family. X

I was driving to Stockport ( past Chester ) last night after 8pm and we saw chinese lanterns in the sky ... at the time they made me think of Rebecca. I wonder if they were the same ones sent up at the Racecourse.

We also lit not one but two candles for her. I'm so pleased that the DIS could pulled together and remember her.

Last night, after DD and I lit our candle and said our prayer, I showed DD a picture of Rebecca. She burst in to tears and said Rebecca was her friend and they played hide and seek together in the Lab during our recent cruise March 13-20. DD was so upset and wrote Rebecca a note, "Dear friend I hope you get found on the Disney Wonder. Luv"
