We prebooked our shore excursions for our March cruise and was very surprised to see on the tickets that they were non-refundable. Considering that many circumstances can change, especially when booking for small children I don't understand this. I have never heard anyone here talk about this, i.e. is there a 7 day window for cancellations or absolutely no cancellations after reservation is made. In August 2005 there will be 14 of us going and I would like to reserve the excursions 60 days out but would like some kind of wiggle room in case someone changes there mind. I can't get them to commit to each other let alone to a SHORE EXCURSION!!! (4 of my 5 dear children have significant others - what is the abbreviation for that DSO and HSO?):jester:

i dont remebmer the exact number of days before you cruise..but you can defintely cancel....i just cancelled one of my last week..so that would have put me 2 weeks out and it wasnt a problem

I'm pretty sure that you can cancel shore excursions up to 2 days prior to sailing without being charged.

From the Disney Cruise Line website -- HTH:

"Shore excursions can be made within 60 days prior to sailing. Some excursions have capacity limits so be sure to make your request early. Reservations are taken on a first come first served basis. You can alter your shore excursion requests anytime up to two (2) days prior to sailing. You should note that after that time, no new excursion reservations can be made and all existing shore excursion reservations are considered final and unfortunately cannot be changed or refunded. Of course if you decide not to pre-reserve shore excursions prior to your cruise, you can still stop by the ship's Shore Excursion Desk, located on Deck 3, on embarkation day, to check availability and purchase excursions. But remember, some excursions may already be full and therefore unavailable."
