Cancelling Days on a Room Reservation and ADRs

Our DD is running in the Princess Half in February. Her DH is in residency with near zero say about his vacation times. Princess Half stuff has to be booked waaaay early and we had no idea which dates (before the race or after) he would be off. After finding Ft. Wilderness fully booked (at 365 days out!) we booked 2 weeks at Pop Century to cover our bases.

SIL just found out that he'll be off for the week after the race so we have room reservations and 'Ohana reservations for the week before that I want to cancel. Will canceling these affect the 'Ohana ADR that we have for the week after the race? We'll be keeping our room reservation for that period.

Just be aware that it is harder to drop days from a reservation than it used to be. In some cases they refuse to drop them and instead insist that you cancel and completely rebook, subject to availability.
