Cancelling ADR's online

In 2 weeks (:goodvibes) I'll be making our ADR's for our next trip. Unfortunately, I won't know the December hours yet and will be making an educated guess as to where we'll be each day.

If when the hours come out, I decide to make some changes, what is the best way to cancel and rebook an ADR? I'll probably do it online as I prefer that method.

Do I cancel the ADR I don't want first and then try to book the new one? Or should I book the new one first and then go back and cancel the original one? There may be a case where I don't want to cancel my original ADR if I can't get the new one that I want. But, I'm not sure if the online system will let me book a new ADR if I already have one for the same day at a similar time.

TIA!!

Book the new ADRs, check out, and make sure you get confo #'s. Then go back in to the "my reservations" page and input your old ADR numbers. Cancel the ones you no longer need one by one. If they are ones with a credit card hold you have to call to cancel those.

The system won't immediately cancel a double booked time, but it may warn you that there is another active reservation if that one is included in your same session and asks you to cancel one of them. You have a reasonable length of time to cancel out your duplicates, but please do so promptly to free them up for someone else, and to avoid having all your ADR's wiped on account of duplications.
