Cancelling ADR

Hi
how far in advance do you need to cancel ADR?
do you ring the main disney line or the indivdual resturants?

You can cancel at anytime either at the restaurant, by calling the main line or at any hotel concierge.

I have cancelled months in advance and within an hour of my ADR - all seem to be welcomed and appreciated by Disney.

I have cancelled within hours and days of a reservation....sometimes plans change
