cancelling ADR do I need to keep proof

Had to change teh dates of our trip so I cancelled 8 ADR, got an e-mail for each of them and they don't show on MDE anymore. Did any of you had problems regarding cancelling and beeing charged anyway, do I need to keep proof that I cancelled?

1990 to 1992 Off site
1994 and 1995 Off site
1998 and 1999 Off site
2000 to 2003 All star Sports
2004 to 2011 Pop Century
2012 The World was great again (Pop Century) without the kids for the 1st time
2013 March Disneymoon with the kids
2013 September 2th adult trip, kind of another Disneymoon

Good question. I cancelled and changed to a later time and kept the email so if there is a problem I can just show my phone. If they don't show up in MDE I am assuming they are cancelled but I am keeping a copy just in case.

I'd rather have some kind of proof just in case there is a problem later so, yes, I would keep a copy of the cancellation emails/numbers. The Disney system is so full of glitches I wouldn't rely on everything going smoothly.

I've canceled reservations tons of times and never had a problem. It's not to much work to keep the cancelation numbers just in case though!
