Cancelling a room but keeping ressies

I got free a free dining package and linked our BOG ressie to it in MDE already. When we were booking online it kept crashing because free dining had just been released and we never got it to process/confirm a preffered room before they sold out so we had to settle for standard and keep trying, which we did get a confirmation for.

Come to find out we did get a preffered room once when we were trying...we just never got a confirmation page. Now that I know we have 2 packages booked I want to cancel the standard room package and keep the preferred room package. If I cancel the standard room package will it automatically cancel my BOG ressie? I can't get another one. I can't figure out how to unlink it either. I wrote tech support a few days ago but they never responded.

Dining reservations are totally separate. Anyone may make one, even if not staying on site. In fact, when people cancel resort reservations they find that dining must be cancelled separately,.or they get no show charges

Thank you. This is what I was hoping for. I really want my BOG ressie! I am hoping it can be linked to my new room package in MDE for planning sake but if not I will live. That lunch ressie took weeks to get. No way I was losing it. I may have kept the standard room.

ADRs are not linked to a package or a room only reservation. They are linked to your MDE account. You could cancel both packages and your ADRs will still be linked to your MDE account.
