I have a one night reservation that I made with a handful of banked points that were about to expire. I had to borrow two points to cover the reservation. We've decided that we aren't going to use the reservation so I want to cancel it. I haven't been keeping up with rule modifications as a result of the pandemic and I can't seem to get through to member services to ask this question, but did I read somewhere that borrowed points will be returned to their original use year as long as the reservation is cancelled 31 days out? If that's correct, can I just cancel the reservation online or do I need to get a hold of member services?
