Cancelling a pre-paid Reservation

I'm pretty sure I'm going to have to cancel our reservation of the tomorrowland dessert party which was paid in full at the time of booking.

Typically, you cancel an order and they refund the card but I no longer have the credit card used.

What to do ?>

Did you completely cancel the account or is this a case of receiving a new card with a different number because the original card was compromised? If you still have the account your bank/credit card company will be able to credit your account. If you completely closed the account you will have to explain to Disney when you cancel. My guess is they will give you a gift car,. assign it to your room account or pay down an outstanding balance for a room or package.

We had a similar situation a couple of years ago...prepaid CRT, later added the Dining Plan, and by the time the trip rolled around the credit card we'd used for the pre-payment had been compromised so we were given a new number. They told us no problem--they would credit the card currently on file, not the card used. So I'm sure that's what will happen for you...whatever card you have on file in MDE at the time of the cancellation will likely be the one that's credited.

Anyone have any idea how long it takes for the card to be credited? I cancelled mine a few days ago and haven't seen any activity on the card yet.

Aha! Just had to be patient for one more night. lol Got the credit overnight.

good enough thanks .. thats another thing I forgot to do, change the card on file.. surely changing the card on file won't mess up my reservations right..
