I know when cancelling a cash flight they're giving one year to use your travel bank credit. But if I booked one way on points does it still become a travel bank credit good for a year? Or are the points just returned to my account (assuming I can now have more than a year to use them)?

Thank you!

I recently had to cancel a flight I booked with points and I got the points right back. I did pay for extra leg room and the money for that went into a travel bank

My experience was similar. I booked JetBlue tickets for my family. Three fares with cash and one on points. The points came back immediately; the cash is in a travel bank with terms I find very reasonable.
