Cancelled Reservations??

Can any one suggest how to get reservations during Thanksgiving week. The campground is completely booked. I call several times a day, every day, but I thought the pros may have a better suggestion. We're even just looking for a tent site. I would appreciate any help!

Someone else is in the same boat as you in another recent thread. Same advice applies here - call every day and try booking a block of time before/after the days you want.

Thanksgiving week is one of the biggies at the Fort, and books many many months in advance. But people also cancel, as close as a week prior.

As Monique noted above, cancellations can and do occur all the time. I myself just cancelled Thanksgiving week reservations at the Fort last week. Some lucky person snapped them up immediately I am sure. So keep trying, everyday.

Yep, Keep trying! I call every week. I am going for Halloween week though.

UPDATE!! I just called and was able to add on the extra night! It pays to keep trying!!!

WOW! I just got 10/30-10/31! Now if only I can get 10/31-11/1.
