Cancelled my holiday but been given the 35% discount instead

Hey,

seeing if anyone else whose chosen to cancel has had the same happen.
I cancelled our holiday for August and had the confirmation that it had been cancelled and that refunds it would be payment stages which I guessed were deposit and final payment. What I have received is a confirmation email of the 35% refund and it stating I’ll be receiving that as a refund.
Hopefully for my sanity and not having to spend 3 hours on the phone others than have cancelled have had the same... And it’s not 3 hours of “it’s a small world after all” For me.

I sent a whingy email too.... apparently they will make the 35% refund booking... then use that new booking to refund the remaining amount in a few days

I’ll leave this here in case anyone has same issue or query to save them 3hrs

They've updated everyones booking, wether they chosen what to do or not. Everyone received an email with an updated invoice yesterday. It might just take a few days before your trip is fully cancelled. I wouldn't worry about it just yet.

1) Accept Original Booking (August for us) with 35% discount as Dining Plan was removed.
2) Canel and receive a full Refund.
3) Rebook for a later date.

Does anyone know if you rebook for a later date do the honour the 35% in lieu of the dining plan or is that for your original dates only? Could be wishful thinking on my part that you get to carry it forward.

Knew it seemed too good to be true, better empty my wallet so. Here was I naively thinking we may get a discount next year.
