Cancelled first time ever...need prayers for my DH

This is your candle at the Shrine Church next to the Premium Outlet Mall, lit with special prayers that you and your DH will soon return to WDW.

Jean, what a lovely thing to do for my husband. He is getting very anxious about his surgery as it's approaching (Tues Oct 28th). I showed him your candle picture and he was very touched. Tomorrow is his birthday and we'll have a little celebration with our sons and their girlfriends. Hopefully he'll recuperate quickly and we'll be visiting our favorite place in the world...WDW. Thank you for your special prayers.

Christine

Many prayers to you...and may you have a wonderful celebratory trip to WDW after a successful surgery and recovery.

Gracerussell, DVC at last, and JaySwash

Thank you for your thoughtfulness and prayers. I can't believe how wonderful the "DVC" family has been through this difficult time.

Prayers and pixie dust for a successful surgery and speedy recovery for your husband. Don't forget to take care of yourself too. :flower3:

You are so kind for lighting a candle for us. Sunday is actually his birthday and we're having a dinner for him with our sons. My husband and I love WDW and he was very disappointed that we had to cancel our November trip. I'm sure that when he is feeling better he will ask me to plan our postponed Anniversary trip...probably from his hospital bed lol. His name is John and mine is Christine. Thank you, again.

HOPE that the surgery and recovery is SUCCESSFUL!
HUGS AND PRAYERS!:grouphug::flower3:

After his recovery, may you TREAT YOURSELVES to an AWESOME VACA!pixiedust::thumbsup2

Thoughts and prayers to you, your husband, friends and family. Hope the surgery went well.
Peace be with you

Good news! My husband's surgery went really well and was very successful. The wonderful surgeons removed the benign tumor and were able to save hearing in the affected ear. There was also no facial numbness at all. I was able to see your posts on my android phone but when I tried to post back that he was doing well, the phone wouldn't let me post. I felt really bad because some of you asked how he was doing but I couldn't answer until we got home. He's on the couch in his pj's ready to watch Hawaii Five O...what a great sight! Thank you all for all of your prayers.

What wonderful news! Can't believe your hubby is home already! WDW, get ready to welcome a very happy couple! Thanks for posting. I was getting worried!

You are a very sweet lady, Jean. It was really tough for him and now he has to recuperate from the surgery but at least he is home. Can't wait until he is strong enough to go back to WDW...yay!

I hear you. Ironically my DH is now in the hospital and, with luck, will be moving to a transitional care place tomorrow. He loves Halloween and we bought some new outside decorations but he missed it all. I sure would have liked to be at home with him tonight!

Disneygal55...I'm so glad things went well with your husband's surgery. Im am sure you are both relieved to have that behind you. I will keep praying for the recovery phase...which can take time and patience.

Jekjones1558...I'll be sure to add you and your hubby to the prayers as well.

Jean, I am so sorry to hear that your husband is in the hospital. I hope that he will recover quickly and will be home with you soon. My husband loves Halloween and pretty much missed it this year too. I will say some prayers for you and your husband. Take care.

Thank you for your prayers J and R's mom. Right now he is just exhausted and wants to feel like himself again.
