Cancellation Question

I have friends who are 14 days out but may have to cancel their trip. They have a package. I've never had to cancel a trip so I don't know much about it except that at this point they'd lose their $200. deposit. What are the penalties if they don't cancel until closer to time?

If they have an alternate date for a future trip, the CM may let them roll the deposit over to the new reservation. We were able to do this when we were in a similar situation.

All of the information is in the fine print on everyone's reservation.

They only lose the deposit if they cancelled 45 days out. Unless they had trip insurance and had a legitimate reason as listed on the insurance, they will lose a percentage of their reservation.

However, if they reschedule, they will be assessed a $15.00 penalty within 14 days of checkin.
