My family has been planning for a while now to take my 3yr old DS on his 1st Disney trip @ the end of Sept. We have booked 2 rooms, one for my family of 3 & the other room for my Parents. Well my mom lost her job a couple of weeks ago & can no longer afford for her, my dad & brother to go :sad2:. My question is can we transfer the $$$ she has already paid on her room, and apply to the balance left on my room?

We have not yet hit that 45 day mark so she can still cancel without a penalty, & I have let a message with the Disney travel agent we used to book, but I have not heard back from her & thought maybe a veteran DIS'er may know the answer to my question. Thanks

If Disney booking is still like it was last year, you could be able to cancel without a fee outside of the 45 day mark. I'm not sure if they have made any changes in the past year.

So sorry to hear about your mother losing her job. This economy is tough.
