I am thinking of changing from our April 18 2018 cruise to one on March 3. Unfortunately the cost has gone up since my first booking and there’s nothing I can do about that. My questions are...

1. Since I haven’t reached my PIF date, will I get a 100% refund?
2. Since I am booking a new cruise from scratch, can I either make it through a TA to get OBC or make it myself and transfer to TA for likely a lesser OBC? I didn’t do either of these with my first reservation and feel like I missed out.
3. Anything else I should consider?

1. Yes, you are eligible for full refund of any monies paid. Or, if you simply change the date of the cruise, the funds can be applied to the new cruise.

2. Yes, either, if you’d like. That would require canceling the current reservation. If you change the date, you will not be able to use a TA.

Enjoy your cruise!

It’s not concierge. I am curious too in thinking about it- I paid my deposit from my Disney vacation account and now those are discontinued. Guessing I would get a gift card but not sure.

Can you not just change the reservation to a new one? I've done that by phone and the deposit transferred since it's a CHANGE and not a CANCELLATION.

That’s probably what I will end up doing to keep it simple, but if I just cancel it I can book my new one through DU and get $350 OBC.
