Canceling/Transfer ADR's?

I keep reading posts of people canceling ADR's and offering them to others. How do you do this?

I did it today by making a 3 way call to the preson who needed to cancel the ressie and disney. She gave the confirmation number and then I gave my name, adrs etc and received a new ressie number. It worked out great!
