Canceling dining plan

We are traveling in a little under a month. I rented points for the beginning of my trip for 3 nights and added that dining plan. We have a 10 night split stay. After changing flights and restaurants I realize the dining plan for the first part of our trip would end up costing more than oop. Is it possible to cancel the dining plan without a penalty

This, it depends on who you rented from, if they want to go about getting a refund and then sending you the money. It is one of the reasons sometimes renting has it pitfalls.
I hope you have a renter that flexible.

Thanks! I ended up adding a ADR and figuring it out so I would end up ahead using the dining plan so I am just going to keep it! I completely forgot about the refillable mugs and snacks which ended up evening everything out!
