Cancel...keep...or modify?

We have 2 reservations that are causing some controversy. The first is the Akershus Breakfast that I scheduled on a morning that has EMH at MK. My husband and son want to "play" at MK while the 3 girls (me and 2 children) go play with the princesses.

Should I try to modify the reservation? The CM I talked to today said it isn't a big deal that I should keep the ressie for the party of 5...after all, what if they change their mind?

The second one is breakfast at CRT. They only had a table for 4, not 5. I am thinking of letting my husband take the girls to this and taking my son somewhere else. However, the CM said to just "show up" and they might be able to squeeze us all in.

What is your opinion of these 2 scenarios????

Unless your credit card will be charged for Akershus, just keep the reservation for your whole party until the last second. You have nothing to lose! Call the night before and modify the reservation if your husband and son decide not to go though, that could open a table for a princess and her mommy! As far as CRT goes, I am guessing that you were the one up at 7am getting that reservation, and if it was me, I wouldn't miss it! You could make another ADR for 2 people at Crystal Palace around the same time and in the worst case scenario that they couldn't accommodate your whole party, two of you could head over there. I think it should work out fine though. Have a great time!

I would definitely show up at CRT and see if they can squeeze you all in. As far as Norway, I think that has a 48 hour cancellation policy. If you don't call and cancel out your husband and son you might get charged for them, you have to give them a credit card when you book now so they have your info. This is one of those scenarios where how much they play by the rules depends on the mood of the cm that handles it the day you show up without your full party! Good luck!
