Cancel and rebook with Costco?

I booked the Norwegian Fjord Cruise for 2016 and did so through the DCL site in the release date. I completely forgot to move to Costco within 30 days. There are two rooms with 5 people so the Costco cards would be around $600. It looks like the price has not gone up. Is my best bet to cancel and rebook with Costco? From what I read I can get my deposit in full because it is so far out. Does anybody know how long it takes for those rooms to be available? There are other 9bs next to one another that would work, but I would like to keep the same rooms. I can't believe I forgot to move do Costco!

Hmmm another thought is we will be on Wonder in three weeks. I wonder if I risk waiting and maybe and book there. That's a 10% discount right? Aggg what to do!

What has the price done since you booked? You'll be booking at THAT price, afterall.

If you know the price has not gone up and the 10% off would save you even more, then I'd be inclined to wait if you're going in 3 weeks. Of course it's a gamble but you would essentially "re-shop" when you are onboard. Just make sure it's not a blacked out date or cruise. If you decide to re-book on board you can then transfer to Costco after you return (don't forget your 30 days lol) and get their cash card as well, as you mentioned.

If your cruise is not on the block out list, I would wait and re shop it onboard. They have to give you a new reservation any way. When you get home you cancel your old reservation and transfer the same rooms to your new reservation. Then you can switch it to Costco. You can then transfer your deposit to help pay down the balance or get a refund for your cancelled reservation. Even if it is a block out cruise, you can still get a new reservation and then cancel the old one the same way.

Thank you for suggestions, I think I will wait the three weeks and re-shop. I will cross my fingers that the price does not go up.
