Hi there
Has anybody out there in Canada had any luck securing the Southwest CC? We only fly SW from BUF and would love to take advantage of the rewards.

We don't have the credit card, but you can join the Southwest Rapid Rewards program without it. (Just make sure each family members has their own rewards number to collect points.)

Every member in your family needs a rapid rewards number, including children. Our whole family has their own including our kids ages 6,8,10. We prefer to fly Jetblue but southwest has more direct flights daily than Jetblue. Jetblue has recently added family pooling though of points. So now all our points go to one account even though we all have our own numbers. This allows at least one free flight more frequently.

Canadians can not have the SW credit card. I tried getting one when they had the 50,000 bonus offer. If you read the fine print it states that you must be a resident of the US. I even asked at the kiosk in MCO....they said the exact same thing and also said that many Canadians ask about it.

Rapid rewards number needed for each member - easy and (hopefully, one day) worth it!
