Canadians in September?

I am going to come out and say it.... I am a DW virgin. So please help me out by telling me what LGMH means and what's the significance? I just want to fit in, LOL!

Hi and Welcome!
LMGH is the little paint sample card - Alien Green is the name, in the Disney paint section -you can get at Home Depot, and you can use them (I haven't actually done this yet but plan to) by laminating the little card and attaching it to your backpack or luggage or even put it in your resort room window, to "id" yourself as a DIS board person.

Please jump in anyone who can explain it more clearly.

We are fly out of Buffalo on Sept 17 also. We are on the early morning flight. What flight are you on?

We have to be on the same flight. We are taking the 7:45am flight, first one out I believe. #960 to arrive in Orlando at 10:20am. Will only fly direct too scared to fly with connections. Are we on the same flight?

I am so worried about these hurricanes though. They better not ruin my vacation, I will cry so hard. This is our first trip away without the kids since we got married 10 years ago. (Anniversary Trip)

We are on the same flight. I am sure you will be able to recognize us at the airport. My 2 sons will have on lime green HSM tshirts that say "I majored in vacation." Make sure you say hi. It would be nice to meet a fellow disser.

wow...flight 960 is popular.... that is the flight we are taking was supposed to leave wed the 10th but changed it to Monday the 8th just so that we make it there and not stuck at Buffalo airport with the agents saying sorry MCO closed today

I love that idea! I think I will laminate them back to back.

This board is so awesome, where else can I plan my vacation reading these awesome posts, listening to the main street electrical parade music w/out feeling like a freak?

Very cool. Thanks for the replies. I'm gonna go get my LGMH and identify myself. Looking forward to meeting others. I am at the CBR from Sept 13-19. So excited. A bit worried about the storms, but I keep saying NOTHING will stop me from getting to DW. Not even IKE.

I always take hoodies and one pair of short pants for everyone, mainly for the day we fly home. Last Sept even at MNSSHP it was still shorts weather. Mind you in Jan when the locals are in coats it's still shorts weather for us .

We leave on Friday and I simply can not talk myself out of bringing one sweatshirt for each of us. It doesn't matter how many times I hear I don't need it .. I just can't grasp it.

Thanks, that was DD two years ago. I think her little sister will be recycling that costume for the MNSSHP this year.

I put LGMH on our little Roots backpack & clipped one onto my red WDW lanyard w/ a Daisy pin.

We'll be @ the CBR starting Sunday, and ADR's are: Sun night Norway;
Mon night Boma - also Mon night plan on AC @ PI; Tue night MNSSHP;
Thur Rose & Crown; Sat San Angel; then we switch to the Swan for 2 nites.

Hope to meet some Canadian Dis'ers.

I just got back last night and didn't see anybody else with a LGMH.

I did meet a part time DISer though... The lady sitting at the table next to us in Le Cellier saw me taking photos of my food. I told her it was food porn for the internet and she said, "Disboards?" LOL Not Canadian but close...she lived in Niagara Falls...NY.

You may want to think about bug spray. I'm not kidding either. I was eaten alive by mosquitos at Animal Kingdom and later at Downtown Disney. I talked to a castmember and he said the recent storms and Hurricane Faye created a lot of water and stagnant ponds that are causing a huge mosquito population. He said it's rare to get bitten by mosquitos at the parks but the weather is just perfect for them to breed right now.

I live with a forest behind my house and haven't been bitten in years. I spent 1 day at Animal Kindgom and ended up with 9 bug bites...including on my feet cause I was wearing sandals.

I didn't even know I was being bitten until it was too late.
