I really have more pj's than a person could possibly need, so getting a cute, cheap extra pair for the trip was the only way I was getting any more They are quite comfy though!

Yes, they most definitely are from Wal-Mart lol They don't have things like that where we live, so we go to the states to get the deals lol

We are now under 2 weeks!!!!

Two weeks from today, I will be in Disney!!

I have been so busy, this PTR has been a little neglected… sorry! lol

Work has been incredibly stressful lately, and I may be starting a new job soon, so I am definitely in need of a break. I am so looking forward to being at AKL, sitting by the pool, and just relaxing.

I have done a bunch more work on the brag books, so it shouldn't take much longer to get them finished (good thing because I'm running out of time! lol) I am really happy with how they are turning out.

I have also made a small activity book for on the plane. A few of us are nervous flyers, so I think some Disney related activities will help us to relax. I will post some pictures of that soon.

My mom and I have also picked up the small toiletries that we needed - toothpaste, new toothbrushes, body wash, shampoo, etc. And I have a bunch of stuff packed in my suitcase - which is really exciting!

Lastly, we made our grocery list on gardengrocer.com. Some things are really expensive, but overall, it is a huge saving for us. I have heard good things about garden grocer, so I hope that it all works out well for us too!

In a few short days, I will be doing the advance online check-in, and before we know it, we will be in Disney

So before I get to the good, Disney stuff, I have a life update!

So I have been working at the same place for 4 years now, in an office. I have always worked hard, and ended up working for multiple departments. Lately, the company has been going downhill, and everyone has been stressed out and miserable. Hours kept being cut, and people were fearing that the place would close.

I ended up getting a new job! It is in a completely different field than I am used to, but it is more money, more hours, plus overtime, and benefits, so I am extremely happy! We were surviving before obviously, but it will be nice to now have extra money coming in, more benefits, and more security in the number of hours I will get to work in a week.

I start the new job the day we get home from Disney! It is great that I still get to go on my trip, and now I will really get to relax and enjoy myself because I have a better job to return home to!

And now back to our regularly scheduled Disney programming…

We are VERY quickly approaching our trip!

Today we went online and finalized our order from Garden Grocer. Unfortunately they already had a ton of time slots filled, so we didn't get our preference, but we still will get everything on the day we arrive. I am crossing my fingers that everything goes smoothly. It has been an easy process so far, and I have heard good things, so I am sure that everything will go off without a hitch!

Tomorrow, Matt and I will be going to see the Travel Agent and pick up our packages for the trip! This always makes the trip feel so much more real! I will post some pictures of this stuff tomorrow if I have time.

I was trying to decide on a bag to bring as my carry-on. I checked the measurements online, and my small rolling suitcase will be the perfect size, which makes me really happy! I had another bag that I brought the last few times I flew, but it ends up being heavy and kind of awkward, so I am looking forward to trying out this bag.

Only a few more days until we leave! I cannot wait to be there

2 Days!!

We leave in 2 Days!


I am just finishing up some last minute stuff today and tomorrow, and then we leave on Sunday!

I put my magical express tag on my luggage And I am working on getting all of my laundry done so that I can pack the rest of my clothes.

Tomorrow we (the women and Matt lol) are all going to the Salon to get our hair cut before we leave. I always feel so relaxed at the salon, so it will be a great start to my vacation!

I just finished putting together my brag books, activity books, and KTTW card holders. I made a little package for everyone that has one of each of these things in it, as well as a pen - but no fun Disney pens unfortunately lol

I have kept these as a surprise - I know that it is nothing big, but I think that they will appreciate it anyway. I wrapped everything in a little package for everyone. This blue wrapping paper is the only thing I had in my house that wasn't Christmas lol And I very quickly cut out a Mickey silhouette with my cricut and put each person's first initial on it, so that we know whose is whose. Here are a couple of pictures.
