Canadian Resident 25% Ticket Discount - Offer Until Feb. 28, 2018

I am still not able to purchase online despite trying everything suggested by their support people - tried 3 different cards, 2 different computers, 3 different browsers, created a whole new account - still giving me an error message! I called this morning and have been on hold for 30 minutes and now being told the offer isn't available to purchase by phone - even though the website says it is! So frustrated!
Strange! I just purchased mine this morning with no issues. I booked via the website on my iPhone. I saw someone post on Facebook that they were having issues as well so maybe it's a glitch and I just got lucky?

When it asks you in the shopping cart to enter guest information, what is meant to show there? The only box I have is "nickname" - is this the missing info?

I just entered our first names in the space and now they're showing up in my app under our names.

Disney are giving me such a run around with this! I tried all evening and couldn't do it so did their chat online. The agent told me I was probably locked out because I must have entered wrong info and to try today. I tried this morning - same issue. I decided to call the phone number it gave to buy the tickets and after being on hold for 30 minutes was transferred to another number and on hold another 20 minutes, only to be told that it couldn't be purchased by phone. I told the agent that the website specifically directed me to call and she looked into it and agreed that it was not worded to say you could only purchase by phone if you were buying a package. She then put me through to IT who tried everything to get the site to work. After TWO HOURS on the phone, I still don't have tickets and was told to try again later. I then went on to their facebook page to find that many other people are having the same issues and not able to buy. They sent me a message (reply to the one I sent last night) saying that I was receiving the error because I was using a computer in Canada - well, of course I am. I live in in Canada! Are they really saying that you can't buy the Canadian Resident offer from within Canada??? Can ANYONE direct me as to what to do next????? It's really not making me feel like this is the happiest place on earth right now!

Are you a CAA member? We bought our discounted tickets in February from them. I would also check Flight Center, Expedia etc. I received an email from Travelzoo today about the WDW tickets.

How frustrating for you! It’s definitely not because you’re in Canada because I bought mine with no problems and I’m in BC. Did it tell you your login information was wrong? If not then it can’t be that. Is your credit card billing address correct? I’ve had that cause me issues in the past. I’m trying to go through the steps in my head to see where you might run into problems. How far does it let you go before it glitches out on you?

Expedia has the discounted tickets and it will be in CAD$

Thank you! I just purchased via expedia! Same price - only downside is having to redeem voucher at main gate prior to entry. I think if you buy direct from disney they email actual tickets (but maybe I am wrong about that). You have alleviated some of my frustration!

I can get all the way through - it only glitches when the credit card is processing. Then it gives me the missing or invalid info message but nothing is missing or invalid. The billing address matches exactly....I've even tried different credit cards and different formatting of my address....no luck

That is so weird! I’m glad you were able to purchase through Expedia though!

Yay!!!!! I almost booked my WestJet package last month but decided to wait until end of Nov. I'm so glad I waited!!!

I am just looking at the Expedia booking - the price is the same as the Canadian resident offer, but the terms and conditions are different. The Expedia voucher states that it expires 13 days after the start of a new calendar year (not an issue for us as we are going beginning of January) and says nothing about needing to be a Canadian resident. Does this mean I can buy at this price for my non-Canadian resident travelling partner? Anyone know?

I’m thinking no you can’t. It states on the Expedia website that you must present proof of residency.

Thanks - I couldn't for the life of me find this on the site and there was no mention on the voucher itself!

I have a pair of the tickets that we are using in 4 weeks. We purchased them via the website, and had the tickets e-mailed to us. Took less than 5 minutes to complete from start to finish.

Does anyone know what type of "photo ID" is acceptable at the Gate? Do we need to bring our Passports with us to the Park (I'd much rather leave them in the Hotel's safe), or will our Canadian Driver's licence and a copy of our passports be sufficient?

From what I have found out from others having the same issues...if you have previously purchased on the Disney site or app then there is no problem and the transaction authorizes. However, if you are new to purchasing (either creating a new account or not used your credit card/billing address previously) then there is some kind of glitch that is not recognising the Canadian addresses. I think (hope) they are working on it as there seem to be many frustrated people on their Facebook page right now!

If it's the same as last year they'll require passports. I had to show our passports, no copies, on our first day. Once the ticket was verified I didn't need them again.
