Canadian Quarters

Has anyone tried putting canadian quarters into the washer/dryers at any of the WDW resort. We will be staying at the Pop in September. Thanks

No....they do not work. It jams the machine money slot and maintenence has to come and fix it. Trust me!!!!

Most vending machines in the US (laundry included) can tell 'cause our quarters are lighter in weight!

I tried to get a pop from a vending machine at our resort and I had the nerve to try and throw the machine off by sneaking in one Canadian nickel (I really had no idea it was there). Needless to say it kept returning it to me!

That is such a good question and one I never would have thought of asking. I could just see me down there in Aug w/ my bag full of Cdn quarters, yelling at the damn washing machine for not working.

Canadian quarters wont even work in the penny presses . Just back from pop wash and dry $2 each soap $1 dryers sheets 2 for $ 1

$2 for each?!?!? So it costs $4 to do a load? Are they big washers and dryers?

Just average laundromat size it actually cost $6 for one load with a lot of jeans as it took 2 times to dry

I have to do my laundry at a laundromat here in Canada on occassion and this is not an outrageous cost... pretty much "average". Some places I go, it costs $3 to wash, $0.25 per 3 minutes of drying time.
