Canadian Deal Question - splitting up dates?

We are planning on visiting WDW after a cruise, which will be 2.5 days.
The Canadian resident deal is for 4 park days.

If we wanted to leave a day earlier before our cruise and visit Disney for 1 day before , and then use the remaining 3 days post cruise, is this possible? This would span 9 days from the first ticket to using the 4th ticket. Or do they need to be consecutive days?

Doubt we would do this as it means getting from WDW to Port Canaveral and then port to WDW twice (vs just staying near Port Canaveral pre-cruise)

With a 4 day ticket you have to use them over a span of 7 days. They don't have to be consecutive but there is a 7 day time limit.

Hi,

We are in a similar situation with two full days before our 7 night cruise and then four full days afterward (including the day we dock). The solution, both from a practical standpoint and a financial one in our case, is to buy a 9 day Cdn ticket and split the use before and after our cruise. Buying the 9 day tickets covers us for all six days of park entry pre- and post- cruise and is cheaper than buying tickets in two segments. Check the Disney website to see how many days of tickets you need to buy to get the access you want, then cost out what you have currently planned to get a sense of whether it works for you. Enjoy your holiday!

Thanks. So sounds like it won't work as it's a 4 day cruise.
We only need 3 days but when I worked out the numbers, it was cheaper to buy the Canadian deal for 4 days vs 3 regular ticket (unless some other deal comes up for our dates).

Kmac19, sounds like that's an amazing trip you have planned. Good that you compared the two options and found that the 9 day works out cheaper. Thanks...same to you. Have a great vacation!

I just hate the new ticket rules. Having to pick a date tickets start, expires early. Used to be they were good for 14 days, period. They keep making it tougher and tougher.
