Canada's Wonderland Planet Snoopy

Has anyone been to the new Planet Snoopy area at Wonderland yet? I'd love to hear your thoughts on the changes before deciding on season passes.

Hi there!

We went on Sunday (after a visit to the Vaughn Mills Disney store for 50% off!).

Basically, all of the kiddie stuff including the Nickolodean area have been repainted and rethemed for Planet Snoopy. The carosel is now just horses (much to my girls' disappointment). They did add 3 new rides to the old Nickolodean area. One is a boat that moves back and forth and in circles (like the one at Centre Island if you've ever been there). One is a mini-ferris wheel (enclosed baskets). The third is a small racecar ride that goes around in little circles on a fixed track. As the cars turn around the ends of the oval they move fairly quickly.

So, while it is a "newly themed" area, everything is pretty much the same. There were lots of characters out. Snoopy, Charlie Brown, Linus, Sally and Lucy. (my kids did not know who any of the children were lol!).

We got season's passes again. I figure that if you go twice you've save a lot. One day park and 1 day waterpark takes care of that.

I still can't help to compare it to Disney, and find it lacking in so many ways compared to the happiest place on earth!
