Out of curiosity, how does the size of Canada's Wonderland compare in size to each of the 4 Disney parks? For example, is it as large as Epcot or even as large as MK? We went to Wonderland last summer on a day where it was 40 degrees and our kids actually did great. They walked tonnes, loved all the rides, never complained etc. I am just trying to have a very rough idea of how they would last one day at one of Disney's parks. We'll be there in October so the weather will be nicer but I was just wondering about the size.

Thanks.

I've just looked it up for you, Canada's Wonderland is 330 acres, Epcot is 300 so it looks like you're going to be good!! :thumbsup2

Thanks for that. That gives me a great idea of how big Epcot is!

I tried looking it up and couldn't find anything recent. I was trying to find the acreage of all the parks (each of the parks, not the total) but can't find that. I really was just curious. I know we'll be fine but seeing as I keep hearing how HUGE WDW is, I was wondering how huge it is (in comparison)!

Thanks.

Okay, I have done some more research (in case anyone is interested):

Canada's Wonderland = 330 acres (130ha)
Magic Kingdom at WDW = 107 acres
Epcot at WDW = 300 acres
Animal Kingdom at WDW = 500 acres
DHS at WDW = ???

Now I have a really good idea how big the parks are. :)

I'd take these figures with a grain of salt. They're true and accurate...but you will nonetheless find yourself walking a LOT more at WDW than you ever did at CW. (Epcot is a perfect example--the running joke is that it really stands for Every Person Comes Out Tired.)

I agree! Epcot especially, but all of the parks feel bigger than CW... At least to my feet!

DH pointed out that the CW number probably includes all the parking lots, while WDW numbers don't.
