Cookies for sale at a flea market in Delaware. Lots of them. Like 30 or 40 cases. Probably 6 or 8 packages to the case. $4 each pack or 2 for $7.

I don’t know if these “fell off the truck” or are last year’s leftovers or what. The store was called Pete’s Bargain Bin and there were all sorts of things that were nearing their code or past it. Weird varieties of cereal and cookies that didn’t sell in standard stores.

@ronandannette , how many do you want??

To me Canada Day cookies have to be Maple flavored.
All those unfamiliar brands are standard fare in Dollar Stores, 99 Cent Stores, Big Lots. These days those of the products in those stores are made to sell in those type stores.
30 years ago, most of the products were over production name brands, or products that were shipped to the wrong region of the nation. In the case of the misdirected products, it was usually cheaper for the shipping company to pay the replacement cost of the products than to ship them where they were supposed to go.
I just remember going into one of the stores here and seeing several pallets of Schnucks Grocery store brand baby shampoo. Clearly mis-shipped since Schnucks only has stores in Missouri, Illinois and Indiana and I'm in California.

Funny I just saw a bunch of Kimberley baked goods at our Walmart this week. Never saw them before this.

It wasn’t for Canada Day yet but they were Barbie cookies . Just plain sugar cookie with Barbie pink icing. There was other things to like small cupcakes but can’t remember the theme. Those look like sugar cookies with red sprinkles in shape of Maple leaf.

It was probably an mis-shipment from the manufacturer to a local Walmart store or distribution center. Maybe they ordered Fourth of July cookies. It would be cheaper and more efficient to offload them to an odd lot jobber.

In general those kinds of cookies are pretty awful. I like the Dare cookies from Canada too.

There’s a store near me that sells similar items. Unusual flavors of Oreos or Cap‘n Crunch cereal that proved unsuccessful plus slightly damaged packages and items quickly approaching their sell-by dates.

Now I’m definitely going to pick some up today.
not a fan of the chocolate, and never noticed the coconut
