Can you wear/use a baby carrier on rides?

I have Ergo which is like a Bjorn that I want to use for my baby girl on our January trip & wondered if I could keep her in it on any of the rides. Obviously ones without height restrictions, of course. :) TIA!

I think they make you take the baby out of the carrier... I had an ergo too, so I would probably leave it on, and just unclip it to show I was holding the baby, and as soon as you get off the ride clip it back up again.

I went in 2009 and had my two month old in a moby wrap. I never had to take him out of it for the attractions I went on. All the Fantasyland rides I was fine with him in there. HM, POTC, Winnie the Pooh, JC, and Buzz was fine too. We didn't do any of the bigger rides. It worked out great. We went in December and it really helped to keep him warm in the carrier too. Have fun!

I went in 2008 with my baby, and I had her in a baby bjorn. They never had me remove her from her carrier on any ride she was able to go on. Also, my friend just returned from her trip a month or so ago with her 4 month old in a carrier and she has pictures of her and her family on rides like fliks flyers and winnie the pooh and her baby is in the carrier. :) You should have no issues

Does the baby have to be forward facing in the carrier? My Ergo only allows the baby to be facing me when worn in the front. :/

When we were there, my sister in law was told the baby had to face forward to go on the ride.

In 2007 I wore my Ergo on most family friendly rides with no problems.

We were at the park during the past weekend. I carried my DS1 in Ergo. For all of the ride that he could ride except for the Little Mermaid, I was asked to take my son out of the carrier and had him siting on the bench/chair right next to me. No lap sitting.

We used ours for walking but she sat next to us or in out lap on rides. Our daughter is 22 months though.

We saw a ton of babies in carriers though. It was so sweet seeing mamas cuddling their babies too ;)

I used my mei tie on rides. They never asked me to remove it. You also can't front face in a mei tie.

Two years ago I had my then infant in a carrier and I even had my coat zippered up around the wrap most times too (she slept like a log in there!!) and they never made me take her out for anything.

I had DS in the Ergo a lot. I wore him on a couple kiddie rides (like IASW) but some rides they have to be sitting on your lap forward facing. If he was sleeping I just waited and DH and DS went on the ride.

Our daughter was 10 months old last time we went, and she was in the bjorn the majority of the time, and for most of the rides, she was fine staying in the bjorn. The only one that I was told she had to be out of it, was on the astro orbiters- her bum had to be on the seat for that, and I was behind her, holding onto her. I don't remember having to take her out on The Little Mermaid ride. We went on just about every ride that didn't have a height restriction.

I have never had an ergo carrier, but am thinking of getting one. My daughter is now 18 months, and will be 19 months and of average size when we go to Disneyland in a few weeks. Is the ergo still good for a 25 lb. baby? It would most likely just for carrying her around the park and for standing in line, and she would be riding piggy back. She is just so squirmy these days, I just can't imagine her being still while holding her in line.

I carried my two year old in the ergo with the back carry... they go up to 45 lbs! I loved loved loved my ergo for my dd when she was a toddler... it was the best! Made me wonder why I ever used the bjorn--in comparison the ergo was a godsend!
