Can you wear crocs in place of water shoes

Keep in mind, they are wicked slick. I have gone down on wet surfaces more times than I would like to admit while wearing them.

You can, but you may want to find a croc with more coverage on the top of the foot and a tighter fit because the traditional crocs tend to slip and slide.

You would have to take them off and sit on them in the raft.

I have worn them in the ocean, but not on anything that slippery. I love them!

I kept my crocs on, they were the kind with no holes. The deck was so hot so you need the shoes until you at least get on the raft. I was prepared to hold them in my hands but the CM said I could keep them on.

Have you tried Tevas, instead of Crocs? I much prefer them, support wise, and most styles strap on pretty securely for water rides.

I've seen them but something that wears like a regular shoe (with straps of any kind)+water=blisters and pain. Something about the softness Crocs eliminates a great deal of the pain in my foot, so as ugly as they are, comfort trumps fashion.
