This is correct. And depending on how long you have to wait to cross the road (Adventure Way, I think) between Sapphire Falls and CBBR it could be no more than a 10 minute walkHi you could walk to SF then cross over to CBBR then get to VB if you want to walk. However, the rumor is that there will be shuttle buses to go back and forth. There maybe a more direct path but I am not sure. CBBR is literally on top of VB. It would probably be a 15 minute walk.![]()
Isn't there a overpass walkway between SF and CB? I'll have to look this weekend.
That's the elevated walkway I was talking about. Yes, it is quicker just to cut across the street, which is what I would do. You don't have to walk all the way to RPR and back to SF.Not really
From the courtyard parking lot, you'll find a gate and stairs to the overpass.
The overpass will continue into a path, running along (but not into) SF, and end at the service entry for RPR (right behind the seaplane at RPR, no guest entry there)
from that point, you must continue to the RPR entrance, and that's where you either walk to the parks, or back to SF
on the image below, you can see the gate to the overhead pass, and the path beyond (red arrow)
it's faster to cross (green arrow, watch for traffic) to Sapphire Falls.
Let's hope the have a crosswalk between the 2 resorts now that VB is supposed to be walkable fron SF, because currently there is none.

Instead of making my own thread can I just jump in here to ask a similar question?
If I wanted to go from VB to Toothsome for dinner - what seems to be the easiest/quickest route? We don't mind walking if that's a reasonable answer.
There will be a bus for off site guests? Wondering how early I need to arrive at City Walk to grab a bus on May 28?
There will be buses from the City Walk parking garage to Volcano Bay according to Universal's website. Not sure about how early though. 28th looks to be busy. All types of express passes are sold out. We'll be there that day.

Agreed! I would use the provided walkway with my kids. Please don't do this, I drive that way after work every day and have nearly hit folks 3 times in the evening since there is no real crosswalk there and it's coming off a mostly blind curve from the interstate ramp. There are signs there asking you to use the bridge with a short fence to discourage people from doing that. There is sidewalk along that road that does go over to the pedestrian bridge along Adventure way. A family with a toddler just last week was cutting it way too close for me, since the toddler ran back into the road.
I believe you may be able to cut through the back/convention center to walk under the tunnel they have made. And there will likely be another way once the Aventura hotel is complete.
