Can you walk to MK from Polynesian yet?

I heard that they may be making a walkway from GF to MK. Is it open yet, and is it possible to walk from Polynesian to MK? And are the ferry and monorail fully functional right now if we cannot walk? And if we can walk, does anyone know how far that is, or how long it takes to walk from Poly to MK? Thanks!!

Nope not open yet. Still active work in front of the MK and the new boat dock area. The key is when are you planning to be going?

From the looks of the construction the path might not open until the work on the new boat landing is done, even if the path is already done anyway.

I have same questions as original poster - how long is walk from Poly to MK for rope drop? I know the monorail and ferry at TTC are both operational, but does anyone have any recent experiences with times they start running? Thank you.

We walked MK to GF on the day it opened, it was about 15 min, not walking fast. I would guess Poly would be another 15 min to the DVC buildings.
