Can you Walk to Epcot from CBR

We have never stayed at the CBR before. We will be there this weekend and I was wondering if you can walk to Epcot?

Also which area should I request to be in?

It's been years since I've stayed at CBR, but, no, you can't walk to Epcot. While the resort is relatively close, there are no sidewalks or walkways to the park and would probably take longer than the bus!

WDW is very definitely in which resorts can walk/boat/monrail to the parks - they are all deluxe.

CBR is right next door to Studios (easy walking distance) - but you can't walk there either.

Most people seem to request Jamaica. It's across the lake from Old Port Royale.

I agree with Safetymom...request Jamaica it is close enough to the food court that the walk isn't so bad...however it's far enough away that you don't get any noise in your room from Old Port Royale which with the pool and outside tables for dining and pool bar can be quite noisy.
