Can you walk from Poly to MK?

One week from today we'll be checking into the Poly.

I understand there's a loop trail for jogging / walking around that goes all the way around the lagoon from the Poly / CR / GF. I think I read it's 1.3 miles. Anyway, is it possible to take this trail and walk to MK from Poly? I was thinking it might be faster to walk during busy times (leaving MK at close after fireworks, for example.) than wait for the boat or monorail.

No you can't walk from the Poly to MK. A canal prevents it.

You can't easily get from the TTC to the CR, either. Joggers do it on the road and grass, but there is no path. It's not very safe.

Walkways run from TTC to Poly to GF, with a branch off to Shades of Green; and between MK and CR.

GF to MK and TTC to CR are the missing links.
