I would like to visit Saratoga Springs one afternoon when we are hanging out at Down Town Disney (leaving in 6 days, woohoo!!). Is it possible to walk to SS from DTD? If so, is there a marked path? Thanks

Yes, you can walk to SSR and there is a nice pathway. The walk should take about 12-15 minutes. Last summer when we stayed at SSR we did it just about every night.

Actually, there is a walkway that circles the DTD/SSR "lake". The segment that runs from the Disney Marketplace end - by the bus stops - to the CP section of SSR is marked, lit and IIRC has a map of SSR. If you are by the West End, you can walk towards the golf course, then cross over to the Town Center area of SSR; I'm less sure how accessible and lit this is.

The walk itself is quite pleasant....

That section is still well lit and quite accessible. It's the section after the turnoff to SSR, the section that continues on toward OKW, that is not lit.

From the West End, just take the exit by HoB/CduS, follow the walkway near the water. When you come to the bridge, turn right, and cross over the canal. That puts you into SSR. From there you can go in several directions. To get to the main 'city' section of SSR, it's best to go up the steps by the golf clubhouse and enter there.

Thanks, Bill - I knew there were some "dark and stormy night" parts ....
