Can you use Rewards dollars to pay for part of package booked with Disney Visa code?

Does anyone know if you can use Disney Rewards dollars to pay for part of a package booked with a Disney Visa code?

I used the Disney Vosa to pay for the deposit and I would use the Disney Visa to pay for most of the balance, but I would like to be able to use a couple hundred dollars of Rewards dollars to pay for part of it.

Yes, you can do that. On our last trip, we used DH's Disney Visa Rewards $$$, along with a couple of gift cards, to pay off most of our room rate... and then put the small remaining balance on a Disney Visa Charge card.

Had you used a Disney Visa code to get a discount on that trip? I believe you have to use a Disney Visa to pay for the trip if you get a discount using a Disney Visa code, so that's why I'm wondering . . . .

Yes you can do this, we did it last fall. We booked a MYW package with a VISA discount code, paid the deposit on the VISA card & the balance with Disney Reward Dollars. They just take your VISA Rewards card number like a credit card. Worked out just fine!

I did this too. Paid for most with my Disney Visa, and paid for the remainder with my points from the Visa.

Yep! So far I have only put about $400 of my package onto my Visa. The rest has been paid for using Disney Rewards, Gift Cards, and Virtual Visas bought with Coke Rewards. I did use the Visa Discount. I have about $204 left on my package (it was $1600...)

Thank you all! That is so good to know. I don't think we would be able to use up all of our Rewards dollars just for extras in the parks (I mean, we could, but we shouldn't ) Great to know I can use them to pay for the package too.

Heather -- I have a bunch of Coke Rewards points, but I haven't seen the virtual visas. What category is that under? Do you know how many points you need and what $ of vitual visa you get? It would be so great if I could use Coke Rewards to pay for this trip too.

Yep..If ou decide to use them to pay on your package. Just call and tell them you want to use your Disney Rewards...It's simple. (You have to transfer them to your rewards card first though)

Heather -- I have a bunch of Coke Rewards points, but I haven't seen the virtual visas. What category is that under? Do you know how many points you need and what $ of vitual visa you get? It would be so great if I could use Coke Rewards to pay for this trip too.

Sadly, they are out of stock at the moment...I discovered this last night when I went to buy another one. We check everyday to see when they come back in stock (they do). You can only buy 3 of them per coke reward account..I have one, DH has one, and DD has one. We just alternate which account we put codes in.

We've managed 4 and have enough points for 2 more.

Thanks for the info! You guys must go through a lot of Coke to have that many points! I thought I had a lot with 300-400. I have a bunch I haven't entered yet, so I'll have to do that and then keep my eye out for when they re-stock.

Audrey - I have a question regarding the promo you got through Visa. Did you get a card or call them? I'm a Visa holder and don't ever get discount promos...thanks! Also, can you tell me what the discout was?
