I keep reading on this forum where people talk about all the deals they get with FD. I thought once you had a discount, FD, you couldn't use anything else?:confused3

I was just about to book FD for 9/23-30, but am worried that if I book online, that I will be paying too much because there are deals that I don't know about. Does this make sense?

^^^ Go ahead and book your reservation. If you find out about another discount/offer that might work best, call Disney and they will apply the discount/offer to your reservation. I'm not sure if you can use more than one discount at a time though. Perhaps other Disboard veterans can answer that question. From my own personal experience I can tell you that if you book on-line and a more economical offer comes along, Disney will apply the discount to your existing reservation.

We are going the same time! Where are you staying?
We received the FD last year with the bounceback deal they had. We had our package transfered to AAA, but other than their small perks, no other discounts. The only savings I see are the dates. Starting Oct.1 the rates change for the resorts.

If there are other discounts I should know about, let me in on those, too.

We were trying to not spend so much so we were going with a value. Probably ASMu; we tried Pop but it's booked.

That's where we're staying! There's just 2 of us and we are paying under $2,000 for everything. We booked a perferred room and have hopper tickets and flying Jetblue, which just dropped their rates, so we have a credit now. Good luck on your booking and you can make your ADR June 25th. If you book a free dining package, you are unable to use any other discounts. IF you originally booked a package with a AAA discount or a pin code discount, those go away if you want free dining. Free dining is the ONLY discount you get. You pay rack rate for your room, plus the cost of any tickets you may need.
