Can you use 2 single days on the same day (instead of a park hopper)?

Let's say I get an 8 day ticket (Not park hopper) but only need 7 days. That leaves me with one day. Can I check into another park on one of those days, using the 8th day the same day as I used the 7th day? Sort of like a park hopper but an actual day?

Too frequent really.
Cause it's an easy one to answer all on your own, all you have to do is look at the 2 options you have here
1, buy PH or 2, buy the number of days to cover the entries, see which is cheaper. Most of the time, adding days is cheaper than PH.
If Disney let you do that they'd never sell PH option.
Does anyone really think they'd let you do something that is less money than an option they sell?

You are why people don't like asking questions. Just be nice about it.

Where was it not nice? I was simply pointing out why it was very obvious that it was not possible
People clearly don't mind asking as this is asked at least once a week.
Well, if you’re pointing out that it’s very obvious, and you mention in a previous post that it’s an easy question to answer all on your own, it sounds like you’re insinuating that it’s a dumb question.

Just curious, but why would you purchase an extra day if you know you aren't planning to use it? In the past it made sense, because you could use the extra day at a later time. with the new dated tickets, you can't do that anymore.

Some people do alot of park hopping. Even with our APs, we find we don't do a lot of park hopping unless the park we planned for that day is super busy.

Off the top of my head: Because you're new to this and didn't know exactly how many days you needed, because your flight/travel plans changed after you bought your ticket, because someone else bought the ticket for you and got too many days, because you got a deal on a ticket and it happened to be for one more day than you needed, because you have an old ticket you never used, because you decided to take a day to go to Universal/Legoland/Sea World/water parks...

Also, you couldn't "use the extra day at a later time" before the recent change to dated tickets.

I’m assuming they’d buy the extra day if they could use it as they suggested.

People don't like when it is pointed out. That is all.

I mean, it's logical. If you could just buy extra days, and extra days are cheaper, then why would Disney even offer the Park Hopper? Almost no one would buy it. It would be more expensive.

This was why actually. I booked a 9 day trip with an 8 day ticket but had to remove a day but did not change the ticket yet.

Actually, I booked a 9 day trip with an 8 day ticket but had to remove a day but did not change the ticket to a day less yet. Then I wondered with MNSSHP if it was worth it for me to buy the park hopper (I like to go to MK almost every night) if I can't use it for MK. So I wondered then if I had an extra day could i use to to go to a different park on a particular night, if I did not purchase the hopper. Hope this makes sense.

Obvious to people like us who know how Disney works forwards and backwards. It isn't always obvious to new people. Thus, the question being asked frequently.

Im not sure if her situation was the same as mine but we will be spending 6 days in the parks but bought a 7day park pass. The reason we did this was it was only a $10 difference in price and now we can go a park for dinner the day we arrive if we wanted to or gets some early morning park hours the day we leave. With the price different its worth the extra $bucks.
