Hi,
Can you upgrade unused park hoppers at the end of your vacation to non-expiring tickets to be used at a later time?

Thankyou

As long as you're still within the original fourteen days and still have one or more days remaining on the tickets, yes. For example, if you first use your passes October 6, you can upgrade to non-expiring passes any time from that day through October 19 - again, if there are any remaining days.

The cost to upgrade is based on the original number of days plus and any days you add when you upgrade. It's not based on the number of reamining days.

I had 2 days left on a 6 day pass, I paid $3 to make it a 7 day pass and then $55 to make non-expiry.

So if we don't use all of our days if we want to use the tickets for a future visit we don't have to upgrade to non-expiring. I thought they expired in 14 days from the first use. Also can we give the tickets to someone else if we can't make it back?

No, if you haven't used the ticket AT ALL, you can hold onto it and use it when you return. If you use even ONE day or option, then you must add the non expiring option so you can use it next time. The ticket starts the 1st day you use it, and you have 14 days from that date to completely use the ticket, add the non expiring option, or upgrade it in any way.

Hope that helps clarify things a bit!

No. If you don't use ANY days, the never-used tickets haven't been activated and won't be activated until you first use them on any future visit.

If you HAVE used ANY days, you WILL need to upgrade to non-expiring passes before the end of the fourteenth day AND before all the days have been used. As another response explains, your upgrade cost is the difference between the original number of days on your ticket and however many days you want to add (if applicable), then already-used days are coded as already-used on the new ticket. Or you can add just the non-expiring option. Or both. But go to Guest Services at a park - not at your hotel, and not a ticket window at a park. Trust me. :)

And no, your passes are 'tied' to the biometric measurement of your index and middle finger so you can't give unused days to anybody else. But with the non-expiring option, you can go back in two or ten or twenty years and use up the rest of the days!
