Can you upgrade MYW tickets with Free dining to AP's?

We plan on returning next spring. I was wondering if we could upgrade our MYW tickets to AP's without losing the free dining? We would do this while we are there.

Yes. We are going next summer and doing the free dining in September. I purchased MYW tickets. You can upgrade your tickets once you get to WDW. You have 14 days from the first day you use the tickets. Then you can upgrade your MYW to AP by only paying the difference between the orginal price of the MYW ticket and the price of the AP.

You have to do this at Guest Services. They are located at each of the 4 major theme parks, TTC, and DTD. You cannot do this at your resort.

I will probably use 1 or 2 days on my MYW ticket and then upgrade at a convenient and less crowded time.
