Can you upgrade at the Concierge check in desk?

We are traveling concierge on our upcoming cruise and will get to the port early to check on the availability of upgrading to the Roy or Walt suite.

Can you do that while you are checking in at the concierge desk? or do you have to walk over to the regular upgrade desk?

This was over a year ago so take it with a grain of salt....but we checked in and then had to go to the upgrade desk.

I know what you mean....good luck trying to score a Royal! I haven't seen one available at time of sail in years!!!!!!

Yep, you must be checked in and then go to the Supervisor's Desk. At PC it is all the way at the end of row of check in desks.

The likelihood of a Roy/Walt suite being available is pretty low. BUT.....BUT.....The Walt was available on a recent cruise we took, so have faith, say a few Hail Mickeys, get their early, and check to see!

You will have to check in, the go to the "supervisor" desk as the far right end of the check in stations.

There is a sign at the supervisors desk if upgrades are available. They are rare, concierge even harder and the Roy and Walt near impossible. There are circa 22 cabins in concierge on the older ships and they normally sell out fast.

We have only upgraded to concierge once and it was on the Magic this year.

I believe you can see if the Royal Suite is taken on cruisefish.

currently they are both booked. It would only now become available if there is a cancellation and since we are nearly inside 30 days, that will be unlikely.
