Can you upgrade an ultimate ticket to an AP

Hi everyone

Does anyone know if it is possible to use an unused 14 day ultimate ticket as part payment for an AP when we arrive ?

Background is that we have booked with Disney.co.uk for the package with free dining in Aug including 14 day Ultimate Tickets for each of us but I want to buy an AP as we are staying for 11 days at POR for our package and then after our DCL cruise we are moving to the Beach Club and if a good AP discount becomes available I would like to use it so would like to upgrade my 14 day Ultimate for an AP to use whilst I am there and for when we check in to the BC (assuming AP rates are released by then).

Hope some of that makes sense, I was going to post the question on the codes section of the resort forum as I know there are lots of experts there but I didn't think they would have a clue what a 14 day Ultimate ticket was

PS If not can I save the unused Ultimate ticket for use on another trip even thought it will be on my KTTW card?

Hi

I don't think you can upgrade the ultimate ticket because it is only available to us Brits. It is also only valid for the amount of days on the ticket, and you cannot save any unused days.

I think I am right, but I am sure someone else will come along who can correct me if I am wrong.

I did it in 2005 will not do it this time because I will not be going back until 2009.
What you need to do is go to guest relations BEFORE using it and get it updated then.

Are you planning on dropping the DDP? Because I think that you have to pay rack rate for the rooms if the DDP is part of your package
