Can you trade points with another owner to get their 11 month window ?

Is it possible to trade points with another owner to get their 11 month window?
I own at VWL.

For example if I wanted to go to BCV, and another owner wanted to go to VWL, is it possible to trade points so that we BOTH get a 11 month window with those points. (I want the 11 month at BCV, the other owner wants the 11 month window at VWL).

I am not sure how this would work out for Usage years and point availability.

Anyone have an opinion on this or done something like this?

You would have to "rent" each other a reservation. You make the reservation at 11 months out in their name. They make it 11months out in your name. You would not be able to transfer points back and forth between each other because you are limited to one transfer in or one transfer out per UY.

You could trade points if you transferred from one use year and the other member transferred from another use year. The disadvantage would be that you and the other member would then have used your once/year transfer for 2 years.

And you couldn't borrow the points that were transferred into the next UY. So whoever got the next year points would be out a trip for the current year, unless they had a whole potload of points.

Sure. You would essentially be trading reservations rather than points. And if one reservation used more points then money or a points transfer could be done to even things out.

it would work the same as a rental, with the same downsides as a rental: the other owner has control of the reservation and "could" cancel it if they chose, which would be a bummer when you got to wdw...
