Can you tell me about trading?

I'm asking my "newbie" questions tonight. Everyone has been such a help on this board that I haven't really had any questions until now. So my question is: what happens after I click the "okay" button as opposed to the ignore or cancel button when someone asks to trade with me? I normally hit cancel, but once I clicked accept (or whatever the button is) and then I never got any other messages. When do they tell me what they want to trade? Is it just in regular conversation on the board? Thanks for any info.
BTW, I'm pinktinkbelle on VMK (hope to get a new name/character on my trip to WDW in October ).

Once you hit okay a box will pop up. The person who wants to trade will put his or her items up. If you agree, click the accept box. If you do not agree, do not click the box. There is a box to type your message (like what you want, etc.). If at anytime you want to stop trading, there is a stop trading button on the screen that pops up. Also, if I ever get in touch with you on vmk, I'd be happy to do a practice trade with you. Just let me know!
