Can you take any seat if you are on the Fantasmic dinner package?

I keep reading how center, high up is the best seating and I know with the FDP you are off to the side. I was just wondering if when you enter, you are able to choose any seat or must we stay in the FDP area. Thanks. Threehearts

I suppose you could try to get a center seat, but whats the point? They are the first to be filled so you would not exactly have your choice of seats. Plus one of the benefits of the FDP is not having to wait in the line to get in.

The FDP seats are on the right side, but believe me, you can see absolutely fine. We have done it a couple of times and have never felt like we were missing anything. Another benefit is that they rarely come around and make everyoine sardine together so you usually have a little more room to stretch and get comfortable.

I have never been to this show and don't know at all what to expect so now that you have explained it, I understand more about the seating. I just thought if the center was rather empty then that area might be preferable. I didn't realize that the general admission viewers were in the stadium that much before the FDP people. We have done Fantasmic! both with the dinner package and without. Once we sat in the center section. The view was no better there than it was from the section reserved for FDP guests.

The center section is the first one that is filled when they seat people for the show. If you wait until about 30 minutes before showtime to go in (the primary benefit to the FDP, IMO) there definitely won't be any seats left in the center section.

The first time we did the dinner package, I was very disappointed when they showed us to our seats "off to the side". As the show began, I realized it did not matter which section you sat in. Any seat was a good one and our section was much less crowded than the others. You'll be fine with the seats saved for the dinner package.
